After TRX plays so hard in the beginning, time freezes for a while and then takes off. They throw me back into the seat and the feeling of speed at this seat height is "this isn't fast" and "this is too fast". It's basically a theme park ride.

Line driving was fun in its own way as I was able to watch the timing and see times and speeds where until now it was simply impossible for a truck to run well from the factory.
I beat the Ram in just three tests: a 4.1-second 0-60 mph time and a 12.55-second 1-mile time just a hair under 107 mph. Our 0-60 mph time doesn't count 1 meter (actually a running start) compared to the half-mile towing time. This run also didn't check the controls because I didn't have much success getting a good start while in use. Holding the brakes at 2,500 rpm and letting it shave four tenths of a second off the factory 0-60 time is a quarter mile. The TRX's adjustable settings—gearbox, steering, safety controls, and paddle shifters—were all in Sport, except for the suspension, which I left on the road.
And here's the bottom line: I'm a fan of it. With more practice, or an experienced driver behind the wheel, I'm sure we could have had a great time in the TRX. Simply great. More play time and better settings - I never experienced any off-road crashes - which probably resulted in better times. Still, in our limited testing, the TRX not only delivered the Ram's estimated 0-60 mph and mileage, but also the best pickup times we've tested recently.
